We are living in changing and troubled times,
and so we seek every day to be ‘a light in the world,’
where we are in our ordinary everyday lives.
Even a small light makes a difference.

The Inspiration for our Community is Luke 1:19:
‘I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and I was sent to speak to you and to bring you this good news…’
We seek to ‘stand in the presence of God,’ as the Angel did, sent with good news to a waiting and suffering people at the beginning of the story of Christmas and its message of hope.
We are a small, dispersed Community of Vowed Anglican Women with a common purpose: to seek, through prayer and action, to make a difference.
Location
The Community is largely based in the North West of England, but there is no limitation as to where Sisters may live.
